And yes- I know you can manually log through the health app, but it doesn’t give you all the metrics
Who’s to say the treadmill is more accurate? Neither are going to be 100% accurate inside.

I dont know about the gym you use, but theres some treadmills and cross trainers that have an nfc tag for the apple watch. Once you scan it, the entire workout is recorded on the watch.
Or track cadence live on indoor bicycling
Or change the alert and text notification sounds.
So should one strap their Apple watch to their ankle for more accurate readings? That’s what I do as I use my treadmill at my desk though now I’m curious if it would actually benefit indoor walkers/runners.
It drives me nuts and the further you run the worse it gets! I thought it was just me. I’ve done it long enough to factor the difference into my run
