I am thinking about getting a framework 16" laptop but one thing that is making me hesitant is the delivery time which says “Q2 2023” (Batch 14). It is November so that makes it 5-8 months which seems a loooong time to wait.
Is it usual to have to wait that long for a framework laptop?
The 16” is new, and hasn’t shipped to anyone yet, consider it a preorder.
Same situation was with the 13” AMD except they are up to Batch 7 being shipped now.
Intel ones can be ordered and received quickly.
Lead times will reduce, but if you want the 16” as soon as possible it’s best to reserve your spot in line.
any estimates on when people are getting the first batch? would love to see some reviews soon
Its a preorder as its a new product, at work we’ve had a batch 7 on order that has just recently shipped, after it has shipped, its about a week to get here
Once dispatched Framework stuff arrives in just a couple of days, in my experience (in the UK).
