Hello all! I’ve been wanting to upgrade my watch for a LONG time now! I currently have the series 3 (lol) stainless steel and I love it! But I’ve been out of the Apple Watch game for a while so I want to upgrade! But trying to decide between the series 9 stainless steel (love the stainless steel versions over the aluminum ones… as it looks more like a proper watch and better for every day wear) or the ultra 2… I like the look and all the features of the ultra 2 but will it pair good with normal every day wear like the series 9 stainless?

What do you guys recommend! I know when it comes to “lifestyle” they both are in different categories but I’ll use my watch for about everything anyway so that part doesn’t matter, I just wanna know what you guys recommend feature wise and style wise I guess?

Thoughts!?

So I have the Ultra AW and I like the fact that it is solid. I also like the battery life (it is not as good as other brand, but better than other AW).

Rumors all over the internets. It’s the 10th anniversary of the Apple Watch so we’re getting an Apple Watch x similar to how the the iPhone X was redesigned a couple years ago

SS for the looks if you’re interested in getting dressier. I still think stylistically the SS looks fantastic, especially with a SS band.

Ultra 2 for the battery life and added button or features.

Size vs battery life is your real subjective consideration. The ss is sleek small and light but your giving up battery life and esp if you go lte often. The ultra your giving up size its a chunky one. That said the ultra is the king of battery life on Bluetooth or lte. So it’s style vs raw function.

I say that as some one who is currently sitting on the same fence as you. I have a s5 and it’s just seen better days and it’s time it moves on. That said s9 lte vs ultra 2 is a tough call.

Personally just go for the ultra, more functions and longer battery life. The only reason to get a s9 would be having a smaller wrist/ stylish look

Ultra 2, I love how it looks and the battery life. The flat screen is so aesthetically pleasing to me and it just feels like a really different experience after having an s4 for so long (upgraded this month).
