You don’t even need to call it, western and westoid media are already pushing “Ukrainian genocide” and “mass murders” of civilians by Russians narrative despite UN assess the number of civilian victims on both sides on around 10000 which is remarkably low for that type of conflict lenght and intensity (and even wiki is quoting that). Lemmy and reddit threads about war are full of that shit.

The US is probably looking to pull out, and are preparing their people for it. Biden’s reelection probably depends on it.
If the war is not resolved by then, or he manages to get out of the conflict without tarnishing public opinion for him, it will be something that will greatly hinder his chances of reelecting.
Presidental reelection in USA being based on peace and not new war would be something not seen often.
It’s not so much about peace. USians are starting to get real angry that so much money is spent on Ukraine, especially after the debacle of the Maui wildfires.
Trump’s promises of peace are tracting for exactly this reason.

The red team was ready to begin shooting down the V-22s when Van Riper’s chief of staff received a message from the white cell. Yeah there has been a shift in narrative for sure. The counteroffensive hype is dying down. I think the war is gonna go on for some time though. At least a year.

Fascists, unsurprisingly, are very bad at warfare, specifically preserving lives, even their own. Especially when we are talking about fascists at the mercy of Western media cycles who demand victories for good PR, and thus get costly and yet militarily useless victories such as all the abandoned corn fields they recaptured some months ago at terrible cost of their own life.
