Explanation: The last words of the Roman Emperor Titus were “I have made but one mistake.”
We’re still not sure what mistake that was.
His one mistake was adding that line instead of saying the actual mistake, thus creating a paradox where either there would be no mistake at all, or two mistakes, making the statement false.
I, perhaps mistakenly, think you are onto something. Ya see, I thought I made a mistake once, but it turned out… I was wrong.
Unless he wanted the ambiguity of dying with those as his last words!
