        I agree with that idea. FEMA shouldn’t discriminate based on politics. I would have to see the facts to make sure that’s what this is. The person that was fired said it was based on safety/threats to workers. This makes sense if you have been listening to other news sources reporting lies about FEMA. This leads to people that are consuming this “fake news” as it’s called, to engage with FEMA workers in a hostile way. This could cause FEMA to make safety calls for their workers.

        I expect, if this is true, to be easily proven with reports of increased threats to FEMA workers with addresses and names, so it can be verified. We should be able to prove if the safety claim is true, or if this person is discriminating based on politics.

          And I’m fine with them avoiding specific names/addresses if there has been neg interactions with workers before. But to just say “Skip all houses with Trump signs” is wrong. And she got fired for it. Rightly so.

          But as she herself mentioned, she’s not the only worker who did that, so I hope more people get fired for it.
