In fairness to Trump (I just threw up in my mouth a little saying that), the pandemic did start in his final year in office.

Remember how he behaved during the start and through the end of his term while COVID raged around the world? He is absolutely responsible for what happened. Economic policies save jobs and his time in office was toxic by literally every metric.

It would have been better for him to have done absolutely nothing. All he had to do was step aside and let the professionals do their jobs.

That Trump vehemently fought any interest rate increases during his administration which meant that the Fed had no levers to pull when Covid hit besides quantitative easing which then resulted in agressive inflation?
