Critical support to Chappell Roan for speaking out but my criticism is that she said she’s still going to vote for Holocaust Harris, which undermines the message she was sending in the first place :(

Maybe it undermines her message for us, but to liberals her saying she was still voting for Harris was not good enough, and they came for her neck anyway (going so far as to question her queer identity, a group of people they claim to care so much about). I think her opinion reflects what a lot of people feel. To me this just feels like a step in the direction of further radicalization. Then again, I am a fan of hers so take my opinion with a grain of salt. My main criticism of her is that she still thinks the democrats are “the left.”

“Chappell Roan” isn’t a real person, and therefore can’t have opinions or agency. “Chappell Roan” is a character invented by the entertainment industry. Famous people, celebrities and nearly everyone you see on TV is not a real person, they’re a simulation of a person, but the person they’re simulating doesn’t actually exist.

If Tom of Tom and Jerry fame posted a video in support of Israel, you wouldn’t think “Oh no! How could you do this, Tom?!” You’d think “who cares what a cartoon has to say?” Same thing with “Chappell Roan”.
