my friends’ group chat is talking about Iran’s attack and is repeating the “Israel stopped 99% of the missiles and drones, what an overwhelming victory for Israel” shit. I don’t have the energy or will to argue with them about it so I’m just ignoring the chat for a while lenin facepalm

Anti-semitism was born out of the rejection of multiculturalism and diversity that jewish people brought to the different places they lived, a completely reactionary sentiment.

Now it is the israelis that reject multiculturalism and diversity! fucking reactionary shithole that place is, and they have the nerve to claim that they’re the real jews.

I did a test to see which party I should vote on and the party that matches with my answers the most is… the Green party. Which is not my party lol.

Since becoming a socialist, my results for those tests have become very unpredictable, which shows you how unreliable they are. When I was a GroenLinks voter, the results for those tests would always be GroenLinks. Those tests don’t take anti-establishment thoughts in account

Really the only thing most of these tests seem to be good at is having people puzzled and/or laughing at their results.

Tips for engaging with the US Military

if they live by u, like on a base, this is some good stuff to do. I can’t confirm or deny if I or my friends have engaged in any of this:

    • feed them dog treats: u can dress up like ur handing out free samples at the mall, and give the service members dog treats. it’s pretty fun

    • pretend ur out of gas: this is my personal favourite. somewhere near base pretend to have run out of gas. eventually a bunch of jarheads will show up to help you push ur car, stay inside slightly riding the brake. they’ll keep trying, let them, but just like really wear them out. for a fun twist, start ur car after they get exhausted and drive away flipping them off

    • set up online dates with them and then don’t show up. this one’s just funny and obvious

    • send terrible Grindr guys to their room: only do this to bad guys on Grindr but this is also really funny

How is the month half over? I haven’t even started on my work for the month yet. Where did the last two weeks go? I feel like I need to get someone to help me stay on track and focus on my work or something, like a personal manager.

I really dislike ads, so usually I have them blocked, but not all my devices have it done yet. Usually it’s just capital trying to get me to buy things so I just scroll past, but just over the weekend it was scary how quickly ads relating to Iran’s retaliatiatory action started popping up with the obvious slant you would expect in the west. There seems to be a concerted effort to start beating war drums… This is not including the horrific ads I’ve seen coming from Zionists over the last half year with blatantly genocidal language. I even reported those ads and nothing came of it of course.

I guess to sum up: ads can and are used as political tools to shape ideology. Yet another reason to get everyone you know on an ad blocker.

I guess that depends on who would ally with Iran. I think Israël vs Iran would be somewhat of an even match, but a coalition between Iran and other (Arab) countries might be too much for them. But then again Israël has nukes so…

Other than nukes, here’s hoping isn’treal/US is too depleted to risk a confrontation with Iran. They’ve been careful with Hezbollah, so they must know they can’t handle Hezbollah + Iran simultaneously. But of course part of me wishes they’d go for it and collapse.

My guess is the rabid dog is going to do its rabid best, its going to cause horrible suffering more but, it is just accelerating its own demise, and I’m telling myself that this course of violent self destructive death throes will actually in the long term end up saving more innocent lives across the world.

Israel is completely fucked and irrational to the point that it can only be described as suicidal. The U.S. is too it just hasn’t entered its unbridled burning madness stage. How could you be the pinpoint of evil on humanity and not be suicidal after all.

so far it seems the u.s. is happy to take advantage of the situation (iran), which isnt a good sign. another aspect is private contractors, which can apparently be deployed with less oversight. 😓

Are Northern academics under pressure to fill some sort of anticommunist quota in order to appease their publishers? That would at least explain why they have to shoehorn in their dissertations these irrelevant potshots at communism, even when they’re self‐contradictory like this.

Did we give the Jewish populations back their stuff before June 22, 1941? Or did we dispossess them only a little bit? Which one was it?

I think I’m finally doing this “touching grass” thing people talk about, I just got an e-bike a few days ago so I’m finally able to get out of the house in a meaningful capacity since I can’t drive and I’m horribly out of shape, this lets me get around to places I need to go somewhat comfortably on my own while still letting me get a decent amount of physical activity (certainly far more than the near-zero I got before)

I’ve done a few trips just for fun and it’s nuts just how much more you pay attention to and enjoy the environment compared to in a car, but today I did a grocery run and it was also very practical, I got a decent pannier bag I can clip to the bike that can be used as a shoulder bag or backpack and it holds a pretty decent amount

Very cool, outside time is a must, it helps in small ways for me I know. Anything better than zero is better, we all struggle to take care of ourselves. Victories add up. Props.
